The Morning I Made Up My Mind!

Many years ago, I woke up with a deep sense of fatigue.

It was not physical.

It was existential.

I had poured my energy into solving daily crises, managing teams, coordinating with government stakeholders, and pushing policy.

But that morning, I asked myself, “If I walk away today, what truly remains?”

That question shook me.

It led to a mindset shift, from short-term output to long-term impact.

From running the day to building what would remain after I was gone.

That was the day I started thinking about legacy, not the kind that comes with plaques or praise but the kind that changes people, systems, and culture.

Legacy is not about what you leave behind.

It is about what lives on in others because of how you led.
